Regular visitors have probably noticed my love for the afternoon light from my verandah. Here it is combined with Hannah in a particularly serene mood. The pose is a quote from my favorite Victorian painter from the Royal Academy, Lord Leighton - not only for the backlight through cloth but also his open-hearted worship of youth and beauty in a supposedly lost Golden Age of Classical culture.

To Hannah however simple, natural values are still very real.
