Hannah
in the Wild
20 X 24 inch silver gelatin print.
Crabtree 1995
I am not really happy
with this print but I still like it as an image. I think I'll have to
live with it for a while. As far as I know Hannah has no Australian
aboriginal blood but, like many young people from the alternate community
she combines a concern for the environment with a respect for aboriginal
culture. She would probably be quite flattered to be called a little
savage. Her smile seems to be questioning and somehow the pressure is
on the viewer to come up with the answer.
