I would hope that there
is pleasure in this image for everyone. For sure women have fewer taboos
about touching than heterosexual men, but it is also true that a "lesbian"
image is problematic because it may be more of a male fantasy than a
true portrayal of individual sexuality. They are doing to each other
what one would like to do to them without a male rival in the image.
What can I say? - moving Nellie's hand to Hannah's breast improved the
composition.
