Hannah
Dancing 1
20 X 24 inch silver gelatin print.
Crabtree 1995
I am amazed at how Hannah
has progressed as a model. This is only the fourth time I have worked
with her and each time she has seemed stronger, wilder, more individual
and more imaginative. Modelling has become another art form for her,
along with dancing and singing. There is a real feeling of collaboration
and creative tension between us when we work together. But then she
is just as likely to disappear without trace for months on end, only
to reappear without warning to be photographed again. I think this image
will become another "Hannah Classic" because it has all the strength
and sensuality compressed in her tiny body.
