Relax
20 X 24 inch silver gelatin print.
Crabtree, January 1998
One of a complete roll
shot from much the same position on a tripod in the creek near my house.
The Creek has been a favorite location of mine for about 20 years and
I'm still discovering new aspects. This was one of the spots Erika wanted
to return to after the unsuccessful shoot with Chelsea.
It is a totally natural
pose; she could be sunbathing or asleep. The massive boulder Erika is
lying on is typical of the creek bed. The shadow of that huge tree conveniently
cuts the glare from her fair skin and around her the composition is
enriched by the wild and undisciplined beauty of the Australian bush.
