Reach

20 X 24 inch silver gelatin print.

Crabtree, January 1998

We spent a beautiful if exhausting afternoon in the creek near my house (exhausting because I spent it clambering over rocks and fallen trees with a heavy camera case and a tripod). I got so many good images in each position they could almost work as a series. It was certainly hard to choose.

At this stage of the visit Erika was full of confidence and choosing her own poses with minimal direction. This is not a wideangle shot by the way. Erika at full stretch really is that long and slender.
