Chelsea Sitting

This is from the same shoot as the series of a beamimg Chelsea wearing fairy wings and obviously very happy. Why is she looking so reflective here? who knows? maybe she's wondering what pose to try next. Maybe she's bored and wants to go home. Part of the magic of working with live models, as with street photography, is that almost anything can happen and what you capture with the shutter is not necessarily a clear description of what actually DID happen.

Here I am returning to the old black background and the satin sheets - they are like 5-minute drawings in life class (every now and again, almost by accident, you get something special and you wish you had made more elaborate preparations). It is a classic pose that breaks no new ground but nonetheless Chelsea's special beauty gives it an undeniable magic.
