The Look
20 X 24 inch silver gelatin print.
Crabtree, October 1998
When I first met Chelsea
she looked at me as though she thought I was an escaped criminal. I've
seen that look many times since and I have discovered it can mean a
variety of things from "Is this what you want?", "Is this REALLY what
you want?" and "You can't be serious!" to "Oh God! how much longer is
this fool going to take to get ready!?"
But as she said herself
(out loud) "I must like it or else I wouldn't keep coming back." As
for me, whenever people ask why I so obsessively photograph nude women
I no longer say "If you have to ask you won't understand the answer"...
I just show them my pictures of Chelsea.
