As a single mother and a professional woman Sue had her hands full. Jamie probably didn't see his Dad as often as he would have liked so he tended to be extra demanding on Sue's attention. The comfort and intimacy of breast feeding certainly soothed him but inevitably came the time to be weaned.

For me this image says something of the male condition in general.
