Jane was a contemporary of mine at Art School and one of the few people there who really inspired me. Like me she discovered art photography after enrolling for something else. What inspired me was the dedication and discipline with which she pursued her art once she found it. She became a great photographer.

Personally I found her beautiful but rather cold and distant - she scared the Hell out of me to be frank - so I treasure this moment she gave me that seems to hint at a rare instant of vulnerability.
