The road to the hovel, named
Liddells Road in honour of Jack Liddell who built my house in 1945. The
mountain in the background is part of the Mt Wellington Water Reserve
and hence a national park until our government sells it to some multinational.Note
the yellow wattle blossom.

Crabtree

Lucaston by the way, a district adjoining Crabtree.

Honestly it only snows a few days a year
, but when it does the view from the front verandah (porch) can be quite
spectacular
|
And here is the hovel
in spring. Note the small member of my loyal staff waiting to be fed
on the verandah.
