Here it is at last!

Mother's favorite photographer licks his lips in anticipation of BEAUTY/REALITY - the book.

And what momentous timing!: 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month...1918 the First World War Ends,1975 the CIA overthrows the Australian Government,and 1996... my book arrives back from the printers!

I decided to publish a book of my photography in January 1996, based upon this web site "Beauty/Reality" (with many additional images) and because it is my first book I wanted to publish it myself so that I could have maximum control over it's design and production.

This means I have had to raise the money for production. My solution was to persuade a mere 200 people out there to "subscribe" to the book by sending me $50 (Australian - remember one Oz dollar then equalled 78 cents US) towards the printers bill. In return they got by airmail a signed and numbered, limited (1000 copies) first edition of "Beauty/Reality" the book plus a signed 8 by 10 inch print of their choice. The book had 96 pages (20 by 26 cm) with a soft cover, high quality coated paper and a combination of section-stitching and Perfect Binding. There were 60 full page duotone high resolution images.
